Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will weaken and move east. A trough will develop near the west Pilbara coast before moving east during Friday. A new high pressure ridge will develop over central parts of the State on Saturday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong cold front will move over the South West Land Division during Friday, with a westerly flow persisting over southern parts over the weekend. A ridge of high pressure over central parts move south on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 18 July
Showers southwest of a line from Perth to Esperance.

Forecast for Friday 19 July
Showers extending throughout the South West Land Division during the day, reaching the southwest Gascoyne, southwest Goldfields and western Eucla later in the day. Thunderstorms and small hail possible southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Esperance in the afternoon and evening. Moderate falls anticipated.

Forecast for Saturday 20 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, contracting to the west and south coast during the day. Thunderstorms and small hail possible over the South West Land Division, contracting to southern coast parts during the early morning. Early showers over the southwest Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla contracting to the southeast during the day.

Forecast for Sunday 21 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, most likely near the west and south coasts.

Forecast for Monday 22 July
Showers over the South West Land Division and adjacent Goldfields and Gascoyne.
