Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies near the coastal parts of the Pilbara and extends into the central parts of the Kimberley. The trough moves offshore from the Pilbara coast in the mornings with gusty easterly winds.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad trough lies near the west coast. The trough remains stationary over the western parts of the State and deepens over the weekend and into Monday, before moving east on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 16 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northern Gascoyne, Goldfields, and the South East Coastal. Showers near the western south coast.

Forecast for Sunday 17 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, central and north Interior, inland Gascoyne, southwest Goldfields and central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers near the western south coast.

Forecast for Monday 18 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, central and north Interior, inland Gascoyne, western Goldfields and South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 19 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, western Interior, inland Gascoyne, western Goldfields and central and western parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 20 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Pilbara, western Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, west Eucla and central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers near the southwest coast.
