Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the North Interior to the inland Pilbara and Gascoyne and will remain fairly stationary for the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends from the Gascoyne, through the Goldfields into eastern parts of the South West Land Division and will contract eastwards in southern parts on Thursday and Friday. A weak cold front will brush the southwest of the state late Saturday, with a surface trough redeveloping inland from the west coast during Saturday and Sunday.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, Interior, Goldfields, Eucla and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 21 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne, northeastern Goldfields, far east of the Southeast Coastal district and Eucla. Very hot over northern parts of the State, the Goldfields and over the South East Coastal district.

Forecast for Friday 22 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, Interior, north east Goldfields and Eucla. Very hot over northern and eastern parts of the State.

Forecast for Saturday 23 February
Shower and thunderstorms over the western Kimberley, inland Pilbara, western Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, northern and eastern South West Land Division. Showers over the southwest Capes. Very hot over northern and eastern parts of the State.

Forecast for Sunday 24 February
Shower and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla, northern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers about the south coast west of Bremer Bay. Very hot over northern and eastern parts of the State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
