Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends through the inland Pilbara and into the North Interior. The western portion of this trough will move south into the inland Gascoyne during Wednesday and Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough near the west coast deepens on Wednesday and moves inland during the afternoon and evening. The trough will continue to move east during Thursday into the Goldfields, and then into the Eucla on Friday. A weak cold front will brush the south coast on Saturday.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and inland Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 13 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne and far northwest Interior. Showers and possible thunderstorms developing over northern and western parts of the Southwest Land Division during the afternoon and evening. Very hot over northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 14 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern inland Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, central and eastern South West Land Division, Goldfields and far western parts of the Interior and Eucla. Very hot over northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Friday 15 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, far eastern Gascoyne, eastern South West Land Division, Goldfields, western parts of the Interior and Eucla. Light showers possible near the western south coast. Very hot over northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Saturday 16 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, far eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western parts of the Interior and Eucla. Light showers possible over southern parts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over northern parts of the State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
