Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the Pilbara and into the North Interior. It will drift into the Gascoyne on Tuesday before moving north again into the Pilbara on Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the State, strengthening on Thursday. A new surface trough is developing near the west coast on Monday then deepen further near the west coast for the remainder of the week.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 4 February
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara, northern and eastern Gascoyne, northern and eastern Goldfields and the Eucla. Light showers along the south coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 5 February
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northeastern Goldfields and Eucla. Very hot over northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 6 February
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northwest Goldfields, and north and inland central parts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over the northeastern parts of the state, Gascoyne and .

Forecast for Thursday 7 February
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and the South West Land Division. Very hot over northeastern parts of the State and the Central West and Lower West districts.

Forecast for Friday 8 February
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northern Interior, inland Gascoyne, Central West, eastern Lower West and the Central Wheat Belt. Very hot over northeastern parts of the State and the Central West and Lower West districts.
