Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends through central and northern parts of the State. A low over the central Goldfields is moving to the southeast today and Wednesday. A trough redevelops along the Pilbara coast late Thursday and during Friday and remains near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts on Saturday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough which extends through central parts of the State contracts to the South Interior by Wednesday evening. A cold front moves through southwestern parts of the State during Wednesday and Thursday before a ridge develops over southern WA in its wake by Friday morning. A new trough will develop inland from the west coast on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Pilbara, southeast Goldfields, eastern parts of the South West Land Division and Eucla. Gusty storms with possible hail over eastern South West Land Division, eastern Goldfields, South Interior and the Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 5 December
Chance of showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Goldfields, eastern Pilbara, eastern South East Coastal and the Eucla. Showers developing southwest of a line Mandurah to Hopetoun during the day.

Forecast for Thursday 6 December
Chance of showers and thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley, Interior, northeast Goldfields, inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and the Eucla. Showers southwest of a line Kalbarri to Southern Cross to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Friday 7 December
Chance of showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, Interior, eastern Pilbara, northeastern Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields and the Eucla. A chance of a shower along the western south coast most likely during the morning.

Forecast for Saturday 8 December
Chance of showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
