Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough of low pressure lies across the eastern Pilbara and Interior. Eastern parts of the trough will push northwards as a ridge of high pressure builds over the south of the State during the week, and by Wednesday the trough will lie along the Pilbara coast and across the far northern Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough of low pressure over far south eastern parts of the State will contract east of the WA/SA Border during Monday. A weak cold front will move over southern parts of the State Sunday evening and Monday morning, with a ridge of high pressure developing in its wake. A trough will begin to form down the west coast on Wednesday and deepen further on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 18 November
Showers and thunderstorms through the Kimberley, Interior, and eastern Eucla. Showers possible southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Esperance.

Forecast for Monday 19 November
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts, with morning showers also possible over the remainder of the South West Land Division and the southern Goldfields. Showers and thunderstorms across the Kimberley, far northeast Pilbara, eastern Interior and eastern Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 20 November
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts. Showers and thunderstorms across the Kimberley and eastern Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 21 November
Showers over southern parts of the State. Showers and thunderstorms across the Kimberley and far northeast Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 22 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeast Interior. Showers and possible thunderstorms developing during the afternoon and evening over the Goldfields, western Eucla, and southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
