Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough extends from the West Kimberley through to the central Pilbara. The trough will deepen and move gradually east over the weekend. Another trough will develop and extend from the inland Kimberley towards the Pilbara on Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies south of the State. A deepening surface trough is situated near the west coast and will move gradually eastwards over the weekend reaching the South Australian Border on Monday. A ridge of high pressure will build over the south of the State it its wake. A weak cold front will brush the western south coast on Monday evening.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 9 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, north and west Goldfields, western Interior and northern parts of the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms also developing near the south coast between Albany and Esperance in the late evening.

Forecast for Saturday 10 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Interior, Eucla and most parts of the South West Land Division away from the southwest corner. Gusty winds, hail and heavy falls possible with thunderstorms over the inland Gascoyne, the Goldfields and adjacent parts.

Forecast for Sunday 11 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Interior, Eucla and central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Gusty winds and heavy falls possible with thunderstorms over the Goldfields and Eucla and adjacent parts. Light morning showers possible along Central West coast.

Forecast for Monday 12 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, South Interior, Eucla and northern and eastern parts of the Goldfields. Showers about the south coast and adjacent inland parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 13 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley. Showers about the south coast and adjacent inland parts west of Israelite Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
