Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies inland of the Pilbara coast and into the southern Kimberley. A strong ridge of high pressure will develop over the Western Pilbara later on Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough through the Goldfields will move east during Sunday ahead of a cold front that will move through the southern parts. A ridge of high pressure will develop in its wake of the cold front near the south coast on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 20 October
Showers southwest of a line Lancelin to Albany. Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 21 October
Showers extending through areas southwest of a line from Geraldton to Israelite Bay during the day, before mostly contracting to south coastal parts during the evening. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northeastern Kimberley during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Monday 22 October
Showers near the south coast. Morning showers possible near the west coast south of Lancelin in the morning. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 23 October
Light showers in coastal areas of the southwest between Cape Naturaliste and Albany. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms near the SW Capes will extend through the South West Land Division and into the adjacent Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla during the day. Showers and thunderstorms possible in the eastern Kimberley and Interior.
