Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough lies well inland over the Pilbara and Kimberley. The trough will extend into the Gascoyne on Tuesday and deepen near the west coast on Wednesday as a low forms near the southern Gascoyne coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge develops to the south of the State with a mid-level disturbance developing over the southwest parts of the South West Land Division. The middle level system slowly moves eastwards during Tuesday as a trough develops through the Gascoyne. The trough deepens near the west coast on Wednesday and Thursday as a low forms near the Central West coast.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 1 October
Showers across southern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers and possible thunderstorms in the southeast of the State contracting east during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 October
Showers and thunderstorms across southern and central parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla and the adjacent South Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 October
Showers and thunderstorms through the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla and the adjacent Interior. Showers possible over the coastal parts of the Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 4 October
Showers and thunderstorms through the South West Land Division, Goldfields, Gascoyne, Eucla and the adjacent Interior.

Forecast for Friday 5 October
Showers and thunderstorms through the South West Land Division, Goldfields, Eucla and the adjacent Southern Interior.
